So on Saturday, Megan almost stepped on this snake.  It was hiding between some logs, but luckily she divereted her step way from his face. Chris H., our regular Saturday volunteer, had his cellphone handy and snapped this picture.  We believe it is a northern watersnake, but his head seems a bit more pointy than some pictures from the internet.  Everyday the woods at Colchester are filled with fun and adventure!
