The past revisited…

The boxes of artifacts from George Mason University excavations, in the James Lee Center basement.
Kayla Marciniszyn, new CART member, works on organizing the boxes and bags from George Mason University excavations from the early 1980’s.
While the reports are getting finialized, there is planning for Colchester digging to begin again in January 2013.  Kayla is organizing the artifacts from GMU.  Over the years their paperwork and notes have been lost, but we have one map, which we can associate with some unit excavations.  Using the bags and the map hopefully we can finally figure out their excact unit locations, and associate the artifacts recovered with Fairfax Arms yard excavations, or units inside the Morris Pound Foundation.
