May showers…

In between the May rain showers progress has been made at both historic sites.
Archaeologist Chris Sperling excavates a new unit into the stone foundation at 44FX3197. Many artifacts have been discovered in the top layer, including wine bottle fragments and large pieces of bone.

Our two interns and two volunteers enjoy the summer weather to excavate the last two units at 44FX0704.  Come volunteer to dig the few boundary MTUs remaining.
