We started out the day as usual here at the CART field office, even though the weather report called for snow to start falling around 9am. The historic crew prepared the open units for the weather, while the prehistoric team worked to shoot in some new units.
All too soon, the snow started to fall. It started out as a light shower, but picked up quickly and has been steadily falling ever since. Now we are warm and safe in the lab, washing artifacts, organizing paperwork, and enjoying some leftovers from the recent ASV and FOFA holiday meetings. Thanks, friends!
Megan, getting ready to screen one last bucketful, as the snow starts to fall.
Alisa, Stefan (fg), and Jon (bg) power through the cold..for a little while.
Time to shut ‘er down!
